The Autel MaxiSys MS908 Pro update license with a duration of 1 year is an extension of the period during which the diagnostic tool can receive new software updates. With this license, the software of the device remains up to date.
After ordering, the license is automatically activated within 24–48 hours. An active license provides access to the latest vehicle coverage, new diagnostic functions, and software improvements. Without a valid license, the existing functionalities of the diagnostic tool remain, but it is no longer possible to install updates or use online features.

- Settings menu: Via the system menu of the diagnostic tool under 'About'.
- Packaging box: On the original packaging of the device.
