Autel MaxiSys MS906BT | Update License
The Autel MaxiSys MS906BT update license is a software subscription with a duration of 1 year. This license extends the period during which your scanner qualifies for official software updates from Autel. By activating the license, you regain access to the most recent vehicle coverage and functional improvements.
After ordering, the update license is automatically activated within 24–48 hours on the serial number you provided. An active license is required to download the latest software, access new diagnostic functions, and use online features such as online coding. When the license expires, the scanner will continue to function with the last installed software, but no new updates can be installed.

An active license provides access to the following software expansions:
- Extended vehicle coverage: Access to the latest vehicle models and systems added to the software.
- New diagnostic functions: Availability of new and improved diagnostic functions, service functions, and tests.

Serial number information:
For activation of the license, the serial number of your scanner is required. This number consists of 14 characters and must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On the sticker on the back of the Autel MaxiSys MS906BT tablet.
- Settings menu: In the system menu under 'Settings' > 'About'.
- Packaging box: On the original packaging of the scanner.
