How does it work in practice?
Renewing your software license is a simple process. Follow the steps below to activate the update.
- Find the serial number of your Autel diagnostic device. The locations are described further below.
- Enter the full serial number in the remarks field when completing your order.
- Complete the order by finalizing the payment.
- The license will be automatically processed by Autel on the server and linked to your device within 24 hours after the order.
- Once the license is active, you can immediately download the new software via the update menu on your device. Ensure a stable internet connection.
Serial number information
For activating the software extension, the correct serial number of your device is required. This number consists of 12 characters and can be found in one of the following locations. Check the number carefully before submitting it.
- Device: The serial number is printed on a sticker on the back of the diagnostic device.
- Settings menu: Navigate in the main menu of the tablet to Settings or System settings and look for the option Info or About. Here the serial number is displayed digitally.
- Packaging box: The serial number can also be found on a sticker on the outside of the original storage case or packaging box.
