The Autel MaxiSys MS906 Pro-TS update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the MS906 Pro-TS by one year. The device activates and programmes all known sensors, programmes the Autel 1-sensor which covers ninety-nine percent of sensors, and has more than three thousand relearn procedures on board. The MS906 Pro-TS is the same bidirectional tablet as the MS906 Pro, but with full TPMS service included, and all these functions draw on the same software file that is supplemented with every update.

After your order, we apply the licence to the serial number of the MS906 Pro-TS, usually within one working day, after which the update menu shows the new versions. An extension supplements the sensor database and the relearn procedures, alongside the vehicle coverage and the coding files. If the licence expires, the MS906 Pro-TS remains at the version it had at that point, and the existing functions on the already supported vehicles continue to work.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕The extension is tied to the serial number of this device and is therefore not transferable.
✕New TPMS protocols are only added while the licence is valid; afterwards, sensor coverage remains where it was.
✕An extension provides software and no hardware, so the BT506 battery tester and the ADAS calibration kit must still be purchased separately.
✕Without an internet connection on the device, nothing happens, however valid the licence is.

Applications and functionality

The software of the MS906 Pro-TS consists of more than just a list of cars. Alongside the vehicle coverage, it includes the procedure files and the online services that the manufacturer attaches to it. Below, for each component, is what an extension means.

What an extension gives you

  • New vehicle coverage: Makes, models and model years added since your last update become available within the existing diagnostic functions.
  • Broader service functions: Procedures such as oil service, steering angle sensor, electric parking brake, brake bleeding and DPF regeneration continue to apply to newer vehicles as manufacturers modify their systems.
  • TPMS database: Sensor types, relearn procedures and vehicle-specific relearn steps are supplemented.

What happens without an extension

  • No more updates: The update menu stays empty, even if the manufacturer releases new versions.
  • Cloud services: Reporting and support that run through the manufacturer's servers may stop.
  • Daily work: Reading and clearing codes, live data and active tests on the known vehicles continue unchanged.

How does it work in practice?

The extension requires little effort on your part. Find the serial number, provide it and then follow these four steps.

  1. Provide the number: Read the serial number of the MS906 Pro-TS and provide it with your order.
  2. Linking: The licence is linked to your device, usually within one working day.
  3. Prepare the device: Connect the MS906 Pro-TS to the charger and ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection before starting the download.
  4. Installing: The new versions are ready in the update menu; select them and start the installation.
