Autel MaxiDas DS808S-BT | Update License
The Autel MaxiDas DS808S-BT update license offers an extension of the software updates for a period of 1 year. This license activates the ability to download and install the latest software improvements, extended vehicle coverage, and updated diagnostic functions on your scanner.
After ordering, the update license is automatically activated on your Autel account within 24–48 hours. An active license provides access to all online functionalities, including new vehicle models and the most recent software. When the license has expired, the scanner continues to operate with the last installed software version, but no longer receives new updates and access to online features is limited.

With an active update license, you gain access to the most recent software, which supports the following functionalities:
- Extended vehicle coverage: Access to the latest vehicle models and systems added by Autel.
- Current diagnostic functions: Use of updated diagnostic data and procedures for accurate reading and clearing of fault codes.
- Software improvements: Installation of stability and performance enhancements for the software of the scanner.
- Online functions: Access to online coding and programming for supported vehicles and systems.
- Security gateway access: Ability to communicate via the FCA Secure Gateway (SGW) with secured vehicle systems.

Serial number information:
For activation of the license, the serial number (14 characters) of your scanner is required. Please provide this number in the comments field during the ordering process. You can find the serial number in the following locations:
- Device: On the back of the scanner.
- Settings menu: In the system menu under "About".
- Packaging box: On a sticker on the outside of the original box.
