The Autel MaxiCom MK908 update license offers an extension of 1 year for the software updates of the diagnostic tool. With this license, the device remains equipped with the latest software versions and functionalities released by Autel.
After ordering, the update license is automatically activated within 24–48 hours on the provided serial number. An active license grants access to new vehicle models, software improvements, and online features. Without an active license, the basic functions of the diagnostic tool can be used offline, but there is no access to new updates and online functionalities.

An active update license ensures that the following functionalities and applications remain available and are updated on the diagnostic tool:

Serial number information:
For the activation of the license, the serial number of your diagnostic tool is required. This number consists of 14 characters and must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On the back of the Autel MaxiCom MK908.
- Settings menu: In the system menu of the diagnostic tool under 'About'.
- Packaging box: On the sticker on the outside of the original packaging.
