Autel MaxiCom MK908 II | Update License
The Autel update license for the MaxiCom MK908 II with a duration of 1 year extends the period during which the reader device has access to new software updates.
After ordering, the license is automatically activated within 24–48 hours on the provided serial number. An active license grants access to the latest diagnostic functions, broader coverage of vehicle models, and general software improvements. After the license expires, the reader device continues to function with the last installed software, but no longer has access to new updates and online functionalities.
Applications and functionalities:
With an active license, the reader device retains the following functionalities:
- Vehicle diagnosis: Access to diagnostic software for the most recent vehicle models.
- Online coding and programming: Performing online codings and ECU programmings that require an active server connection.
- Special functions: Access to new service and maintenance functions that are added.
- Software improvements: Receiving stability improvements and fixes for software bugs (bugfixes).

Serial number information:
For the activation of the software update, the serial number of the reader device is required. This number consists of 14 characters and must be entered in the comments field during checkout. The serial number can be found in the following locations:

- Packaging box: On a sticker on the outside of the original box.
