OBDSTAR P001 Programmer | Accessories
The OBDSTAR P001 is a multifunctional programming Adapter, designed as an accessory for OBDSTAR diagnostic and key programming tablets, such as the X300 DP Plus and Key Master DP Plus. This Adapter is specifically developed for reading and writing EEPROM and MCU data from various vehicle modules. The P001 is based on an ARM 7 processor, ensuring stable data processing during complex programming tasks.
The set comes with various components to support different connection methods. The C001 and C002 circuit boards enable direct soldering of chips onto the PCB for reading. Additionally, the W001, W002 and W003 data cable options for reading chip data without disassembly (in-circuit) and detecting starter coil electronics, as with Toyota and VCIX immobilizer systems.
Application and functionality:
The P001 Adapter expands the functionality of compatible OBDSTAR devices with specialized programming capabilities:
- Read and write EEPROM: Reading and programming data from EEPROM chips, used for immobilizer reset, odometer calibration, and other module configurations.
- Read and write MCU data: Supports reading data from various microcontrollers (MCUs) used in body control modules (BCM), dashboards, and engine control units (ECU).
- Key Renew: Enables resetting used car keys to factory status so they can be reprogrammed for another vehicle.
- Read IMMO data: Reads immobilizer-related data from modules of brands such as Volkswagen/Audi (4th and 5th generation), Porsche (BCM), Ferrari, and Maserati.
- Read PIN code: Extracts the security PIN code from original keys including Peugeot and Citroën.
- Toyota smart key programming: Provides a function to program Toyota smart keys without the need for a PIN code.
