The OBDSTAR DC706 is an ECU programmer that does one thing exceptionally well: cloning control modules. It allows a replacement module to inherit the data from the original, enabling the vehicle to accept it. This can be accomplished via five different methods — through OBD, on the bench, in boot mode, via BDM or via JTAG — and across four types of modules: engine management, transmission, body and motorcycle.
The device is a 7-inch Android tablet powered by a RK3128 quad-core ARM Cortex A7, featuring 16 GB storage and a 3700 mAh battery. The database is comprehensive: over 2,050 ECM types, 510 TCM types and 180 body control and other modules, including airbag, BCM, BSI, CEM, DDM/PDM, DIM, EPS, keyless, KVM, RFA and SAM. You can also read and write EEPROM, dflash, pflash and map files, reset a module to factory condition, correct the mileage, and retrieve the immobiliser PIN code. We supply the Full version, which includes the P004 adapter, the BENCH B-V2 cable and the complete jumper set.
