OBDSTAR C4-02 Adapter | Accessories
The OBDSTAR C4-02 Adapter is an accessory designed to establish a connection with specific ECU's (Engine Control Units). This Adapter is used in combination with the OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and the P004 jumper cable to read and write data on the workbench (bench mode).
The C4-02 Adapter is developed for directly connecting OBDSTAR diagnostic equipment with Bosch ECU's, including the EDC17C55 and EDC17C63. The design ensures a stable data connection for specialized operations such as cloning an ECU, reading flash memory, and writing EEPROM data outside the vehicle.
Application and functionality:
This Adapter facilitates communication between OBDSTAR equipment and specific engine control units for data management on the workbench.
- ECU cloning: Enables reading the full data of an original ECU and writing it to a donor ECU.
- Bench mode operations: Provides a direct and stable connection to the ECU without it being installed in the vehicle.
- Data reading and writing: Facilitates reading and programming the flash and EEPROM data of the supported ECUs.
