The Autool DM200 is a compact digital multimeter for measurements on vehicles and electronics. It selects the measuring range automatically and shows the reading on a 4000-count display with backlight. With it you can quickly measure voltage across a fuse, continuity in a cable or the consumption of a component.

It measures DC and AC voltage up to 600 V, current up to 10 A, resistance up to 40 MΩ, capacitance, frequency and duty cycle, and has a diode and continuity test. HOLD freezes a reading and REL measures relative to a zero reference. It runs on two AA batteries and switches itself off.

How to use it

  1. Connecting the leads: Black into COM, red into the VΩ jack or the 10A jack for high currents.
  2. Selecting the function: Turn the dial to the desired measurement.
  3. Measuring: Hold the test probes on the measuring points.
  4. Holding the reading: Press HOLD to keep the reading.
  5. Switching off: Set the dial to OFF; otherwise it switches itself off.

Good to know: For current measurements above 400 mA, always insert the red test lead into the 10A jack before measuring, otherwise the fuse in the mA input will blow.
