Activating your software extension is a simple process. Follow the steps below to update your device:
- Order the license: Place the order and enter the serial number of your Launch device in the remarks field during checkout.
- Receive the code: You will receive the digital activation code within 24 hours after ordering via WhatsApp or email.
- Activate the update: On your Launch X-431 V+, go to the software update menu and enter the received code to activate the new license period.
- Download the software: After successful activation, you can immediately start downloading the latest software updates for all available vehicle brands.
Serial number information
The serial number of your device is required for software activation. This number consists of 12 characters. Make sure to enter this number correctly in the remarks field when placing your order. You can find the serial number in one of the following locations:
- Settings menu: Navigate in the main menu of the device to the settings or 'About' section to view the system information.
- Back of the device: The serial number is often on a sticker on the back of the tablet.
- Original packaging: The number can also be found on the box in which the diagnostic device was originally delivered.
