After activation, the diagnostic device immediately receives the latest system updates and an extensive vehicle database. When the license period expires, the device continues to operate with the last installed software version but loses access to new updates and online programming functions until a new software extension is activated.

Activating the software extension is a simple process handled entirely digitally:
- Order: Place the order and enter the serial number of your diagnostic device in the remarks field of the shopping cart.
- Receipt: You will receive the digital activation code within 24 hours after ordering via WhatsApp or email.
- Activate: Start the Launch diagnostic device, navigate to the update menu, and enter the received code.
- Update: After successful activation, you can immediately download and install the latest software updates on the device.
Serial number information
For activation, the serial number of your device is required. This number consists of 12 characters and can be found in one of the following locations. Make sure to enter this number correctly in the remarks field during the ordering process.
- Settings menu: The serial number is usually visible in the information menu or under the account settings of the software.
- Back of the device: The serial number is printed on the sticker on the back of the tablet.
- Packaging box: The serial number is also printed on the original box of the product.
