The Launch X-431 Pro V update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the Pro V with one year. The Pro V is an eight-inch diagnostic tablet from the Pro range, which communicates with the vehicle both via cable and wirelessly, and draws its coverage from a file that expands with the market. The device performs complete system diagnostics with remote diagnostics and supports CAN FD; the manufacturer designates DoIP for this model as expandable. With an active licence, that file remains current.
A licence renewal keeps the vehicle coverage and the service procedures so that newer model years stay within reach of the Pro V. No registration with a service desk is required, as you receive a code by email and activate the renewal yourself in the update menu of the Pro V. The serial number of the device is mandatory at the time of ordering. After expiry, the already installed software remains fully functional.
