The Launch CRP909X update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the CRP909X with one year. The CRP909X is a diagnostic device from the Creader Professional range, the X model. What the CRP909X can do on a particular vehicle depends on the software version installed on it; you keep that version current with an active renewal. As long as the licence is active, every new software version via the update menu on the device itself.
When placing your order, provide the serial number for your CRP909X comes through; this is mandatory. You then receive the renewal card by email, typically within one working day, and enter the code in the update menu of the device. Renewing the licence keeps the vehicle coverage and the service procedures as they are released for this model. When the licence expires, the CRP909X continues to work on the last installed version, but you cannot install new versions.

- Existing diagnostics: Reading, clearing, live data and active tests on already supported vehicles continue to work normally.
