The Launch Creader CR629 is a diagnostic tool designed to perform diagnosis on the engine management system, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), and SRS (Supplemental Restraint System). The device operates via the OBD2/EOBD standard and is equipped with a 3.5-inch color screen for displaying fault codes (DTC's) and live data. The connection to the vehicle is established via the standard 16-pin OBD2 connector.
In addition to the standard diagnostic functions, the CR629 offers three specific maintenance and reset functions. This includes the Oil Reset for resetting the oil service interval, the SAS Reset for calibrating the steering angle sensor, and the BMS Reset for registering a new battery in the battery management system. The device's software can be updated via a USB connection to a PC, keeping vehicle coverage and functionality up to date.
