Autel XP400 Pro | Key Programmer
The Autel XP400 Pro is a key and chip programmer, designed for reading and writing vehicle keys and a wide range of chip types. This programmer works in combination with Autel MaxiIM diagnostic tablets, such as the IM508 and IM608, and a PC with the appropriate programming software. The XP400 Pro supports reading and writing data from more than 3,000 different components, including EEPROM, immobilizer ECUs, engine ECUs, and MCU chips.
The device offers specific functionalities for various car brands. This includes programming infrared keys for Mercedes-Benz vehicles and reading data from IC chip keys on recent models of Hyundai and Kia. Compared to the previous XP400 version, the Pro version offers broader support for component types and improved stability and hardware protection, reducing the risk of burnout.
Application and functionality:
The XP400 Pro is used by technicians and locksmiths for advanced tasks related to the vehicle immobilizer system. The functionalities include:
- Reading and writing transponders: Supports reading, cloning, and generating various transponders.
- Key frequency detection: Identifies the operating frequency of keys, supporting 315 MHz, 433 MHz, and 868 MHz.
- MCU and EEPROM chip programming: Reads and writes data directly to and from more than 2,000 MCU and more than 440 EEPROM chip types.
- ECU programming: Reads and writes data from more than 40 engine ECUs and more than 180 immobilizer ECUs.
- Specific brand functions: Performs specialized functions such as reading and writing BMW EWS3 keys, unlocking 11 key types for Audi and BMW, and programming Mercedes-Benz infrared keys.
- Compatibility: Works as an accessory for the Autel MaxiIM IM508, IM608, and IM608 Pro tablets.
