The OBDSTAR P001 Programmer replaces three separate adapters in one casethe EEPROM adapter, RFID adapter and Key Renew adapter are all included together. With these, you can read memory chips, extractpincode up, you make simulated keys on and makes used keys usable again.
The brand range is extensive and covers FCA Group and the VAG Group to Renault, Toyota, GM, BMW, Land Rover and Jaguar, plus an extensive list of motorcycle brands. Please note the combination:OBDSTAR advises that the Key Master DP Plus and KeyMaster G3 already have the RFID function built in and work with the MP001 — these two devices therefore do not require the P001.

Applications and capabilities
The P001 sits between your OBDSTAR tablet and the chip or key you're working on. The tablet controls the procedure; the P001 makes the connection.

- EEPROM operations: Read, save and rewrite memory chips.
- Pin code extraction: Retrieve the pin code you need for key work.
- Create simulated keys: Emulate a key when no working key is available.
- Key reuse: Use the Key Renew function to make a used key serviceable again.

What you'll need
The P001 does not work independently. Below is what you'll need.
- An OBDSTAR tablet: The device that performs the operation and displays the wiring schematic.
- The wiring schematic from the tablet: During the operation, the tablet shows for each chip which wire connects to which contact point.
- The expanded module or chip: For most operations, the component is removed from the vehicle.
Do you have a Key Master DP Plus or a KeyMaster G3? Then you don't need the P001 according to OBDSTAR: those devices already have the RFID function built in and come supplied with the MP001.
