The Jaltest JDC520A connects the proprietary 16-pin diagnostic connector of a Valtra tractor to the 16-pin OBD2 input of your Jaltest equipment. On the machine end there is a round black plug with a ribbed coupling ring and a metal cable clamp; the contact housing has sixteen numbered positions, of which twelve are occupied with a contact. Despite the same pin count, the pin assignment differs from a standard OBD2 plug. The cable measures 28 to 30 cm.
Once the connection is made, the Jaltest software accesses the tractor's engine management. Jaltest covers two common rail injection systems here: the EEM3 - EDC 7 UC31 and the newer EEM4 - EDC 17 CV54, where additional actions are also available on the EEM4. For both, the service intervals can be retrieved. The cable works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and falls under Jaltest AGV.

The cable is intended for workshops reading out Valtra tractors with common rail engines. Which system you find depends on the engine generation; the EEM3 is the older one, the EEM4 the newer.

Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector determines compatibility, not the model. The cable fits any Valtra tractor with the round 16-pin diagnostic connector. The series covered by Jaltest AGV coverage are listed below; the A-series and T-series also appear on the 8-pin cable's list, so both connectors occur within those series.
