The Jaltest test lead set (50003008) comprises two measurement leads, one red and one black, each with a fixed probe tip at one end and a right-angle safety banana plug at the other. The probes feature a ribbed grip with a thick collar, keeping your fingers behind the measurement point. The plug is marked with the CE mark, the double insulation symbol and 20 A—the sheath is marked 20 AWG, 5000 V and 90 °C. Together, the two leads weigh 95.5 grams.
Use these leads to measure voltage, resistance and continuity on sensors, actuators and wiring harnesses with the multimeter you already own. The sharp tip reaches tight measurement points where a blunt probe slips off, and the right-angle connector keeps the lead along the instrument rather than protruding straight out. It serves as the replacement lead for damaged or unreliable cables.

Applications and functionality
These leads form the connection between your multimeter and the test point. They are designed for electrical work on vehicle wiring, specifically for low voltage testing on sensors, actuators and harnesses.
What you can measure with them
- Voltage measurement: Supply voltage, earth loss and signal voltage at a sensor or actuator.
- Resistance measurement: The resistance of a coil, sensor winding or heating element.
- Continuity testing: Trace a wire from end to end to locate a break.
- Identify faults:Short circuit, broken wire or signal value deviating from standard.
Cable construction
- Instrument side: An angled safety banana plug with the pin largely shielded.
- Measurement side: A fixed probe with a sharp metal point and ribbed grip.
- Colour: One red and one black cable to keep positive and ground separate.
