\nThe Jaltest 50007007 is the set of caps for lambda probes and NOx sensors. Each cap has a slot or recess in the wall, so you can over the sensor cable slides onto it. The sensor therefore comes out with the plug still connected, which can make a difference when that connector is behind a heat shield or high in the wiring disappears.\n
\nThe set includes seven pieces:five straight sockets and two offset caps with which you can also reach a sensor that is positioned at an angle or is wedged in place. They are designed in chrome-vanadium; one of the caps features a size marking 22. The case weighs 2.145 gram and measure 230 x 210 x 53 mm.\n

Applications and functionality
Aoxygen sensor of NOx sensor is threaded into the exhaust system and has a cable attached to it. A standard socket won't work, so you would normally need to locate and disconnect the connector first. The sockets in this set are slotted, which eliminates that step.

How to use them
- Removing the sensor with the cable still attached: The socket slides over the cable, the connector stays in place.
- When a sensor is stuck: The offset sockets route the drive around the obstruction.
- Refitting the sensor: The sockets fit your own ratchet or torque wrench for the specified torque.
- Protecting the wiring: No pulling on the cable and no twisting the connector whilst removing.

The sensor determines compatibility, not the vehicle. This reference does not list makes or models — you select based on socket size and clearance around the sensor. This is determined by the vehicle itself, and these are the key points to check.
What to check on the sensor:
- Socket size: Measure the hex on the sensor; one socket is marked 22.
- Entry form: Whether the cable exits straight or at an angle determines which slot width will fit.
- Space around the sensor: If space is limited, an offset socket is the only option that will work.
- Drive type: The sockets have their own drive opening; check whether your ratchet or wrench fits it.
