\nThe Jaltest 50003019 is a storage case with measurement leads, test probes and clamps for electrical measurement work on vehicle wiring. The case measures 435 x 93 x 230 mm, weighs 2 kg and has a carrying strap on both sides. The lid contains two complete rows of loose test leads and clamps in elastic loops; in the lower compartment are the larger accessoriesin cut-out foam, with thecoiled measurement leads in a network compartment.\n
\nThe set is the link between your own multimeter or oscilloscope and the connection you are measuring. With a test probe you insert from the rear into a connector that remains connected, with a test probe measure you in the middle of a vein and with a crocodile clip of crocodile clipthe cable stays in place automatically whilst you work with both hands. There is nodiagnostic equipment to hand, as this is loose measuring equipment.\n

Applications and functionality
The case is divided into three zones. The lid holds small loose components, the base tray contains larger accessories, and the cable compartment stores leads. The layout below follows the photographs of the displayed set.
What's in the case
- Lid, top row: Blue back-probing pins for accessing connected connectors from behind.
- Lid, bottom row: Small clamps with red, blue and white insulation for fine wires and narrow connection terminals.
- Base tray: Back-piercing probes in red and black, test leads with extended shanks, grabbing clamps in blue and red, and red and black crocodile clips.
- Mesh pocket: Coiled test leads in red and black.
- The case itself: Custom-cut foam with a dedicated slot for each component, elastic straps in the lid and a carry handle.
What you use each component for
- Back-piercing probe: Taking measurements on a connector that remains connected, accessing from behind the seal without breaking the connection.
- Piercing probe: Measuring directly into a wire where no connector is nearby.
- Crocodile clip: Securing a fixed earth point or power connection whilst you probe with the other lead.
- Grabbing clamp: Holding a thin wire or a pin too small for a crocodile clip.
- Test lead: Standard measurement at an easily accessible point.
- Test cable: The connection between the accessories and the measurement input of your instrument.

- Jaltest (50003008) | Testkabelset | Accessoires: Two loose cables totalling 95.5 grams, red and black, with fixed sharp probes. Intended as the standard cable set for a multimeter, or as a replacement.
- Which one to choose: If you mainly measure at easily accessible points, the test cable set is sufficient. If you work frequently on connectors that must remain connected, this case is the logical choice.
