The Jaltest MDC100.9 is the adapter cable between the 26-pin Sub-D of the Jaltest Link V9 and the 37-pin Sub-D of an earlier version of the Jaltest ETM. It is a short cable of 28 to 30 cm, with a narrow 26-pin socket at one end with the contacts in three rows, and a wider 37-pin socket at the other end with the contacts in two rows. Both ends are female and have jackscrews.
You do not connect it to a vehicle, but between the interface and the test module. If you have switched from an existing ETM to the Link V9, the test module remains in use with this cable. You also need the ETM itself, the test cable for the component you are measuring, an ETM licence and an active CV or Modular software licence.

Applications and functions
This cable makes an earlier ETM connectable again to the Jaltest Link V9. With the ETM you then test a component separately from the rest of the system.

- Testing: Start the ETM test in Jaltest on the PC.
Compatible devices and applications
The connection on your ETM is decisive. If the ETM has a 37-pin Sub-D and the Link has a 26-pin Sub-D, this cable is the link between them. Below is what the complete setup requires.
Required components:
- Jaltest ETM: An earlier version, with 37-pin Sub-D.
- Jaltest Link V9: The interface to which you connect the ETM.
- Test cable: MDC02 up to and including MDC14, per component.
Licences:
- ETM licence: Without this licence the ETM does not start; the annual renewal has reference 29701.
- Software licence: An active CV or Modular licence.
