The Jaltest Marine Kit (70001053) is the hardware platform for diagnostics on boat and marine engines. The case contains the Jaltest Link V9 (70001015), the Multipin Kit 70002007, the OBD2 cable JDC213.9, the connection cable JDC107.9B to the PC and the extension cable JDC100B of 250 cm. Everything is housed in the Compact Hardcase 70003015, measuring 505 × 381 × 146 mm.
What makes this kit suitable for use on the water is the JDC100B extension cable of 250 cm. On board, the engine is rarely within easy reach of where you can place the laptop. The multi-pin kit 70002007 contains twenty multi-pins and the power cable JDC10AM2 for the battery. The diagnostics themselves are performed by the Jaltest software with a Marine module on a Windows PC.

Applications and functions
This kit connects a Windows PC with Jaltest software to the control units of boat and marine engines. The Jaltest Link V9 passes the engine signal on to the PC; the cables determine where you connect, either to a 16-pin OBD2 port or via the multi-pins to a non-standard connector.

Compatible vehicles and applications
The software module matters, not the case. This hardware supports all Jaltest Marine modules. Which brands and systems you can read depends on the selected module; on engines with a proprietary connector, the multi-pins or a separate JDC cable are useful.
