The Jaltest Marine Kit (70001053) is the hardware foundation for diagnostics on marine and ship engines. The case contains the Jaltest Link V9 (70001015), the Multipin Kit 70002007 for Marine, the OBD2 cable JDC213.9, the connection cable JDC107.9B to the PC and the extension cable JDC100B at 250 cm. Everything is housed in the compact case 70003015 measuring 505 × 381 × 146 mm.
The extension cable is the most notable difference compared to the sister kits — where 70001052, 70001060 and 70301001 come with the JDC100 at 100 cm, this kit includes the 250 cm JDC100B, because on board the engine is rarely within arm's reach of where you can position your laptop. Additionally, the multipin kit 70002007 is the most basic of the four, and the software module determines what you can read out.

Applications and functionality
\nThis kit establishes the connection between a Windows PC with Jaltest software and the control units of marine and boat engines. The Jaltest Link V9 translates the motor coach to the PC, whilst the cables determine where you connect in, on a 16-pin OBD2 connector or via the multipins on a non-standard connector. Below you'll find what's included in the case and how to use it.\n
What's in the case
- Jaltest Link V9 (70001015): The diagnostic interface, with 26-pin DB26 to cable and USB-C to PC.
- Multipin Kit Jaltest Marine (70002007): Twenty multipins JTP01 through JTP10 in blue and yellow, the connection cable JTP101 and the power cable JDC10AM2.
- JDC213.9: Adapter cable from 26-pin DB26 to 16-pin OBD2 connector.
- JDC107.9B: Connection cable from the Jaltest Link V9 to the USB-C port of the PC.
- JDC100B: Extension cable of 250 cm between the Jaltest Link V9 and the engine cable.
- Compact Hardcase (70003015): Case measuring 505 × 381 × 146 mm with space for this set and approximately twelve cables.
What you can do with it
- Read and clear fault codes: On every control unit covered by the selected Marine module.
- Monitor live data and parameters: With the engine running, at the dock or during a test run.
- Actuate components: Activate valves, relays and actuators directly.
- Connect to a non-standard connector: With the multipins you can reach a connection for which no ready-made cable exists.
- Draw voltage from the battery: The JDC10AM2 powers the interface where the connector itself provides no power.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The software module determines compatibility, not the case. This hardware supports all Marine modules that Jaltest offers. On the water, a standardised OBD connector has never been mandatory, so manufacturer-specific connectors remain in use on new engines too — that's what the multipins and individual JDC cables are for.
