The Jaltest JDC563 is an ethernet diagnostic cable used to connect the RJ45 network interface of Liebherr machines to the Jaltest diagnostic system. The cable measures 302 cm in length and features an RJ45 connector at both ends: on the machine side, the connector is housed in a sealed black enclosure with a rubber sealing ring and a metal locking bracket, whilst the interface side has a standard RJ45 connector with transparent housing and black strain relief. The cable jacket is printed with the data cable standards EN 50288 and TIA/EIA. The cable is designed for machines whose systems communicate via ethernet rather than through a conventional serial diagnostic line.
This cable carries the ethernet connection through to the diagnostic system, enabling communication with Liebherr systems that operate in this manner. This allows the diagnostic equipment to access the control units behind that network interface, delivering faster data transmission compared to a conventional serial diagnostic connection. Which systems you can access varies depending on the machine, system and model year. The cable falls under Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway machines).
