\nThe Jaltest JDC633A is the adapter cable that connects the 6-pin diagnostic connector from Tohatsu-outboard engines connects to a standard 16-pin OBD2-interface. On the engine side, the cable features a 6-pin connector that connects under the bonnet, whilst the interface side has the 16-pin OBD2 connection for the Jaltest Link. Tohatsu uses the same 6-pin form across two power classes: This cable has the pin configuration for the models of40-60 hp, the JDC632 version which covers 10-20 hp.\n
\nThis cable routes the communication lines from the outboard engine through to the Jaltest Link, enabling direct communication with the onboard control unit. This allows the diagnostic equipment to access the engine management systemEngine Control Module (ECM) of the MFS 40, MFS 50 and MFS 60, with fault codes, measured values, component control and maintenance counter reset. Parameter configuration and calibration are not covered by this engine control unit. The cable falls under Jaltest Marine.\n

Via this connection, you can access the engine control unit of the Tohatsu outboard motor using Jaltest software.

- ECM — Engine Control Module: The engine management system of the MFS 40, MFS 50 and MFS 60. Fault codes, live data, component activation, ECU information, service reset and real-time monitoring.
