The Jaltest JDC631A connects the 6-pin diagnostic connector of fuel-injected Hidea and Parsun outboard motors to the 16-pin OBD2 port on your Jaltest diagnostic equipment. At the motor end sits a rectangular connector made of off-white plastic with yellow locking wedges and flat pins, though not every position is wired: only the conductors required for diagnostics are connected. The final section of cable runs through black corrugated tubing with the conductors visibly entering the connector; the connection itself is located under the engine cover. Both manufacturers use the same control unit, so a single cable serves both.
Through this interface, your diagnostic equipment accesses the ECM Delphi, the engine control module for both Hidea and Parsun fuel-injected outboards and the only control unit Jaltest supports for these brands. You can read fault codes and live data, command actuators — including direct tests such as cylinder balance and cylinder cutout — and monitor operation in real time. Available functions vary by model: the Parsun F30 EFI lacks live data display, whilst the Hidea HDEF30 includes it. Coverage spans the HDEF20 through HDEF130 and the Parsun F30 EFI to the EFI 115. This cable falls under Jaltest Marine.

- ECM Delphi, engine control: The control unit for both Hidea and Parsun fuel-injected engines, and the only one that Jaltest supports for these brands. Available functions vary by model.

Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type determines compatibility, not the model designation.This cable is compatible with Hidea and Parsun outboard motors featuring fuel injection and the 6-pin diagnostic connector located under the engine cover. Jaltest Marine supports the models listed below; the cream-coloured connector with yellow retaining clips will confirm you have the correct connection.
