De Jaltest JDC612A is de diagnosekabel voor Yanmar, 3-pin. Hij koppelt de 3-pins aansluiting van de Yanmar-binnenboordmotoren aan de standaard 16-pins OBD2-aansluiting. Aan de motorzijde zit een lichtgrijze huls met een afgeronde driehoekige doorsnede, waarin drie pennen rond een groene wig staan. Het is een rechte kabel zonder aftakking van 28 tot 30 cm.
Zodra de verbinding staat, benadert de Jaltest-software drie motorregelingen en de bedieningspanelen: EDC Yanmar Bosch, EDC Yanmar Generic, de ECM en de panelen VC10 en VC20. Bij de Bosch-regeling staan ook componentaansturing en parameters in de dekking. De kabel werkt met de Jaltest Link V8.1 en V9 en valt onder Jaltest Marine.

Toepassingen en functionaliteiten
De kabel is bedoeld voor werkplaatsen en jachtwerven die Yanmar-binnenboordmotoren uitlezen. Via deze verbinding benadert u de regeleenheden van de motor en die van het bedieningspaneel; welke eenheden aanwezig zijn, hangt af van de motorserie aan boord.
Regeleenheden die u kunt benaderen
- EDC Yanmar Bosch: Motorregeling, met aansturing.
- EDC Yanmar Generic: Motorregeling, uitlezen en live data.
- ECM: Motorregeling, onder meer BY-serie.
- VC10 en VC20: Bedieningspaneel, zonder foutcodes.

Compatibele motoren en toepassingen
Bepalend is de stekker, niet het model. Deze kabel past op elke Yanmar-binnenboordmotor met de driehoekige 3-pins aansluiting. Onderstaande series voert Jaltest Marine in de dekking.
