The Jaltest JDC602A is the diagnostic cable for Sea-Doo personal watercraft from BRP; it connects the 6-pin diagnostic connector to the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic device. On the engine side, you will find a grey rectangular connector with rounded corners, a green locking clip between the pins and a blue threaded cap on a lanyard; this sits in the engine compartment. The cable measures 28 to 30 cm in length.
With this connection, Jaltest equipment reads four control units on board: the braking and reverse system iBR, the multiplex module MPEM, the engine control unit ECM and the instrument cluster INS. Coverage varies significantly: the iBR and MPEM provide fault codes, live data, component control and parameters — and the iBR also includes calibration — whilst Jaltest reads only live data and wiring diagrams from the ECM and INS, meaning no fault codes. Cojali approves the cable for Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9. The cable falls under Jaltest Marine.

Applications and functionality
Through this connection, you access the four control units of the Sea-Doo watercraft using Jaltest software. The units and functions listed below are from Jaltest's marine coverage. When planning your work, note the difference between units with and without fault memory.
Control modules you can access
- iBR — braking and reverse system: The intelligent braking and reverse system module, with the most comprehensive function list: fault codes, measured values, component control, parameters, calibration and live data.
- MPEM — multiplex system: The watercraft multiplex module, with fault codes, measured values, component control, parameters and live data.
- ECM — engine control: The engine control unit. Jaltest reads live data and wiring diagrams from this module, but not fault codes.
- INS — instrument cluster: The instrument cluster, also with live data, but without fault codes.
What you can do
- Read fault codes: Access the fault memory of the iBR and MPEM, with descriptions of detected faults.
- View measured values: The current sensor readings from the iBR and MPEM.
- Control components: Directly operate actuators of the braking system and multiplex system.
- Adjust parameters: Configure and apply settings for the iBR and MPEM.
- Perform calibration: iBR only.
- Monitor live data: Track values in real time across all four control modules.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type determines compatibility, not the model.This cable fits any Sea-Doo watercraft equipped with the 6-pin diagnostic connector. You can identify it by the grey rectangular connector with the blue threaded cap next to it; the round 4-pin connection belongs to the key programming cable. The series listed below are covered by Jaltest Marine.
