The Jaltest JDC602A connects the 6-pin diagnostic connector of BRP Sea-Doo personal watercraft with the 16-pin OBD2 input of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the engine side there is a grey rectangular connector with rounded corners, a green locking tab between the pins and a blue screw cap on a loop. The cable is 28 to 30 cm long.
When connected to the cable, the Jaltest software reads four control units: the iBR braking and reverse system, the MPEM multiplex module, the ECM engine control and the INS instrument panel. On the iBR and the MPEM, fault codes, measured values, component control and parameters are available; from the ECM and the INS, Jaltest reads only live data and the wiring diagram. The cable works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and falls under Jaltest Marine.

Applications and functionality
This cable is intended for workshops that read Sea-Doo personal watercraft with the Jaltest Link. The units and functions below come from the Marine coverage of Jaltest. When planning your work, note the difference between the units with and without fault memory.
Control units you can access
- Braking and reverse (iBR): Calibration as well.
- Multiplex module (MPEM): Fault codes and parameters.
- Engine control (ECM): Live data only.
- Instrument panel (INS): Live data only.

How to use it
- Locate the connector: Find the grey 6-pin connector in the engine compartment.
- Remove the cap: Take off the blue screw cap.
- Connect: Insert the JDC602A into the connector.
- Link connection: Connect the OBD2 side to the Jaltest Link.
- Read out: Select Sea-Doo, the series and the unit.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector determines compatibility, not the model. The cable fits any Sea-Doo personal watercraft with the 6-pin diagnostic connector. You can recognise it by the grey rectangular connector with the blue screw cap beside it. Jaltest Marine covers the series listed below.
