The Jaltest JDC574A9 connects the 6-pin diagnostic connector of Crown warehouse and forklift trucks to the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. Behind the OBD2 housing, the cable splits into three branches: a grey sealed plug with a green pin holder, a round connector with one central pin, and a small round connector. All three branches belong to the same cable.

When connected with the cable, the Jaltest software reaches the Zapi TPM power modules that control the travel and lift drive of electric trucks, in both the CAN and RS232 versions, and on the CD diesel series the DL03 engine control. The focus is on electric trucks. The cable is covered by Jaltest MHE.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕The ZPM (CAN) power module is covered for Crown, but without diagnostic functions.
✕On the diesel trucks of the CD series, coverage remains with the engine control; the electric series in fact have no engine control.
✕Only for the Crown connector; other truck brands have their own plug.
✕Alongside the grey plug, the cable has two round connectors, which you do not use on every truck.

The cable is intended for workshops that service Crown warehouse and forklift trucks. Which systems are present differs by series and drive type; the units below come from the Jaltest MHE coverage for Crown.

Control units you can access

How to use it

  1. Finding the connector: Locate the 6-pin connector in the cab or at the driver's position.
  2. Choosing the right branch: Place the grey plug and the round branches next to the connector.
  3. Connecting: Insert the matching branch into the connector on the truck.
  4. Link connection: Connect the OBD2 end to the diagnostic cable of the Jaltest Link.
  5. Reading out: Switch on the truck and select the Crown brand and series in Jaltest MHE.

The plug determines compatibility, not the model. The cable fits every Crown truck with the 6-pin diagnostic connector. Jaltest covers the series below within MHE coverage.

Good to know: The diagnostic connector is in the cab or at the driver's position of the truck. You recognise the correct branch by the grey sealed plug with the green pin holder. Place it next to the connector on the truck before ordering.
