\nThe Jaltest JDC559A connects the 6+6-pin diagnostic connector from Haulotte aerial work platforms and boom lifts to the 16-pin OBD2-input of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. Directly behind the OBD2 connector is a black rectangular connector box from which two branches come, each with a white 6-pin connector in two rows of three. These two connectors are a suitable pair: one features contact sockets, the other a pin cap. The cable is 30 cm lang.\n
With both branches connected, the Jaltest software reaches the control units without needing to switch between them. These are the hydraulic steeringHYDRAULICSin both theCAN-as the olderRS232 interface, the engine control ECM Kohler including the Stage V specification, and on the HA series the E-CDIS of Kubota engines. On the Boom lifts only the Kohler system is covered by the warranty. The cable works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and falls under the Jaltest MHE module.\n

Applications and functionality
Using this dual connection you access the machine's control units with Jaltest software. Which systems are present varies by model range and engine type: boom lifts have more onboard systems than telescopic handlers. The control units below are covered by Jaltest's MHE coverage.
Control units you can access
- HYDRAULICS (CAN), hydraulic system: The machine's hydraulic control via the CAN bus.
- HYDRAULICS (RS232), hydraulic system: The same control on older machines with serial connection.
- ECM Kohler, diesel engine control with common rail injection: Control for Kohler diesel engines.
- ECM Kohler (Stage V), diesel engine control with common rail injection: The Stage V version of the same engine control.
- E-CDIS, diesel engine control with common rail injection: Control for Kubota engines on the HA range.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the control unit's fault memory with descriptions of detected faults.
- View live data: Current sensor values connected to the control unit, displayed as figures and graphs.
- Track maintenance: Record service intervals and completed work, with a service report.
- Perform additional actions: Extra procedures that Jaltest offers per control unit, where available for your system.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type is what matters, not the model.This cable fits any Haulotte machine where the control panel connection consists of a 6+6-pin connector. Jaltest covers the following series under MHE coverage; for boom lifts and telehandlers, OBD compliance is not required, so this configuration is also found on newer Haulottes. Machines with a single 4-pin connector belong to JDC549.9.
