The Jaltest JDC550 is the diagnostic cable for the standardised 9-pin ISOBUS connector on agricultural vehicles and implements. On the machine side, it features a round connector with a metal sleeve and a black housing with nine positions; on the interface side, it has a round bayonet coupling onto which the Jaltest diagnostic cable fits. Halfway along the cable, there is a branch leading to two battery clamps, red for positive and black for negative, which draw the supply voltage directly from the battery. At 230 cm, this is a long cable, and it is specified for Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9.
ISOBUS is the standard laid down in ISO 11783 that enables a tractor and an implement to communicate with each other: same connector, same wiring and same messages, so that an implement from one manufacturer works on a tractor from another and can be operated on the display in the cab. This is why you will find this connector on machines from various manufacturers, and it is not the brand but the ISOBUS connector that determines compatibility with this cable. Via the connection, the Jaltest equipment monitors the ISOBUS line, reads the fault codes and measured values from the connected ISOBUS units and determines whether the tractor and implement are communicating correctly. The cable falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

\nVia this connection you have access to Jaltest software about the ISOBUS diagnostics of the machine and the attached implement. You view along the same line as agricultural tractor and implement their messages. What you can see depends on the units connected to that line and therefore on the implement and the year of manufacture.
Control units you can access
- ISOBUS units on the implement:The control units of the press, sprayer, spreader or other mounted implement that register on the ISOBUS line.
- ISOBUS units on the tractor:The units on the tractor side connected to the same line, including the cab display controls.
- The ISOBUS connection itself:The message flow between tractor and implement, allowing you to verify that both communicate correctly.

The connector determines compatibility, not the brand.This cable fits any agricultural vehicle and any mounted implement with the 9-pin ISOBUS connector. That connector is specifically designed to allow machines from different manufacturers to work together, so you select this cable based on the presence of the round ISOBUS connector and not on the brand of the tractor.
Application:
- Tractors with ISOBUS:The round 9-pin connector is usually located at the rear, near the implement coupling.
