The Jaltest JDC209A is a special and robust diagnostic adapter cable, intended for mechanics and technicians working on DAF trucks. This cable is required to connect the rectangular 16-pin diagnostic port of older DAF vehicles to the standard 16-pin OBD2 connection of modern diagnostic equipment, such as the Jaltest Link interface.
Although both sides are 16-pin, the shape and pin layout differ. The JDC209A ensures the correct translation of signals between vehicle and diagnostic tool. Thanks to the robust construction and industry-grade materials, this cable withstands daily workshop use and guarantees a stable and error-free connection during diagnosis or maintenance.
Application and functionality:
The JDC209A enables reading older DAF trucks via the Jaltest diagnostic computer. This allows technicians to still perform extensive diagnostics on vehicles without a standard OBD2 connection.

- Read and clear fault codes: Detect and resolve DAF-specific faults via DTCs.
