The Jaltest JDC209A is an Adapter Cable designed to connect the specific DAF 16-pin OBD1 diagnostic port to a standard 16-pin OBD2 (J1962) port of a diagnostic tester. This cable is specifically developed for performing diagnostic work on older DAF Trucks that are not yet equipped with the standardized OBD2 connector.
The cable functions as a physical Adapter, allowing modern diagnostic equipment to communicate with the Electronic Control Units (ECU's) of compatible DAF vehicles. This enables reading and clearing fault codes, viewing live data, and performing other diagnostic functions supported by the tester and the vehicle.
