The Jaltest JDC204A connects the 16-pin diagnostic connector of Wabco brake systems to the 16-pin OBD2 input of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the vehicle side is a round plug with a knurled coupling ring and a numbered pin holder with sixteen positions, of which six are occupied. It is a serial connection, not a CAN connection, and the cable is 28 to 30 cm long.
The plug is located on or near the brake control unit, not at the vehicle's OBD location. With the cable connected, the Jaltest software reaches the ABS/ASR family, the EBS family and the hydraulic brake systems HABS D and HBS AddOn-E. The cable works with the Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and falls under Jaltest CV.

The cable is intended for workshops that read out the Wabco brake control unit of trucks, buses and work machines with the Jaltest Link. Because the cable follows the control unit and not the chassis builder, you find the same connector on different brands. The systems below are from the Wabco coverage of Jaltest.
