\nThe Jaltest JDC115.9brings theflat 3-pin diagnostic connector from a Carrier refrigeration unit to the 26-pin Sub-D port (DB26) of the Jaltest Link. The connector on the device side is fully black: A black housing with a black locking bracket and three flat pins in a row. That's where the difference lies compared to the JDC121A9, which connects to the same 3-pin socketred pole holder with yellow sealing carries and not on DB26 but on 16-pin OBD2 comes out. The cable is with 28 to 30 cm short and runs in a straight line, without branching.\n
\nThis version is the variant without CAN: The official product page refers to it as "Carrier diagnostic cable", whereas the JDC121A9 is listed there as "Carrier diagnostic cable, CAN". Through the connection, the equipment reaches the refrigeration unit's control system and thereby theMAXIMA/ULTRA, the VECTOR and the VECTOR 1350From these systems, Jaltest reads fault codes, measured values and ECU data, supplemented with maintenance information on the VECTOR 1350. As a Link version, the product page providesV9, and the cable is included with the module Jaltest CV.\n

Applications and functionality
Using this connection, you can access the refrigeration unit control with Jaltest software on the Carrier refrigeration unit on the trailer or semi-trailer, and not the engine management of the tractor for this. The units listed below are compatible with Jaltest refrigerated transport coverage. According to the regulations, it specifies which fault codes, measured values and ECU data the equipment retrieves and where the maintenance data comes from.
Control units you can access
- Carrier MAXIMA/ULTRA: Refrigeration unit control, with fault codes, measured values and ECU data.
- Carrier VECTOR: Refrigeration unit control, with fault codes, measured values and ECU data.
- Carrier VECTOR 1350: The same readout, supplemented with maintenance data.
What you can do
- Read fault codes: Query and clear the fault memory of the refrigeration unit control after repair.
- View measured values: Current values from sensors and pressure transducers, with an alert when a value falls outside the range.
- Consult maintenance data: For the Carrier VECTOR 1350, view maintenance intervals and compile a service report.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector on the refrigeration unit is what matters, not the trailer brand underneath. This cable is for the flat 3-pin connection of Carrier in the non-CAN version, identifiable by the fully black housing. Refrigeration units have never been subject to a standardised diagnostic connection requirement, so the year of manufacture of the trailer tells you nothing about the connector.
