The Jaltest JDC221A converts the ST14D connector of the security gateway (SGW) in heavy Iveco trucks to the standard 16-pin OBD2 connection. You do not connect it to the vehicle's diagnostic port, but directly to the security gateway connector in the wiring harness. At the other end is your Jaltest diagnostic cable.
Behind that gateway lies the vehicle network of the S-WAY, T-WAY and X-WAY. With the cable connected, the Jaltest software accesses, among others, the engine control EDC MD1 with Denox 6-HD, the brake control BSM, the body computer BCM, the Hi-TroniX TraXon gearbox and the predictive driveline control E-HORIZON. The cable belongs to Jaltest CV.

The cable is intended for workshops that read out heavy Iveco trucks with a security gateway. The control units listed below come from the coverage of the S-WAY, T-WAY and X-WAY, the versions on which the security gateway is covered.

- Reading out: Select Iveco and the range in Jaltest CV.
