The Jaltest JDC608A is the adapter cable for Honda outboard motors with the manufacturer's 4-pin diagnostic connector; on the interface side it ends in the 16-pin OBD2 of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. The engine side is recognised by a square black housing with a pale green, translucent holder around a black core with flat pins. The cable measures 28 to 30 cm.
Once the connection is made, the Jaltest software accesses the ECM PGM-FI, the engine control unit of the outboard motor. On this 4-pin version you get all functions: Fault codes, readings, component control, parameters, calibration and reset. Honda also uses a 2-pin version, from which Jaltest only reads live data and calibration. The cable falls under Jaltest Marine.
