The Jaltest JDC500 is the connection cable between a computer and the virtual terminal of Fendt agricultural machinery. It is a black, round cable approximately two metres in length, with a USB Mini-B connector on one end and an 8-pin RJ45 network connector with locking clip on the other—the standard network connector you would recognise from a network cable. The RJ45 side connects to the network port of the terminal, whilst the USB Mini-B side connects to the computer.
This connection is used when working on the virtual terminal of Fendt machines and associated software. You work from a PC or laptop, not from a handheld device. No control unit is involved: the cable connects the computer to the terminal connection of the vehicle, not to the diagnostic network. The cable is used within Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).
