The Jaltest JDC506A9 connects the 4-pin diagnostic connector of Fendt tractors to the 16-pin OBD2 socket of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the machine side is a round black plug with a ribbed coupling ring, which you secure to the connector in the cab. Behind the OBD2 socket, the cable splits into a branch to that plug and a shorter branch to a round power connector. The cable is 28 to 30 cm long.

Through that connector, the Jaltest software reaches the Fendt diagnostic line and more than just the engine control: the GTR transmission, the EHR and EHF lifting system and the Comfort on-board computer, on the Xylon supplemented with power take-offs, differential lock and suspended front axle. On the Favorit 900 you also reach the EDC MS6.4 engine control. The cable works with the Jaltest Link V9 and is covered by Jaltest AGV.

HIGHLIGHTS

POINTS OF ATTENTION

✕This version is for the Jaltest Link V9. If you work with a Jaltest Link V8.1, this is not the correct cable.
✕On the Farmer 400 and the Xylon 500, Jaltest reads transmission, hydraulics and power take-offs, but not engine control.
✕The self-diagnostic unit in the instrument panel (Vehicle Check Up) is in the coverage list, but offers no diagnostic functions.
✕Only for the 4-pin Fendt connector; Fendt also uses other diagnostic connectors.

How to use it

  1. Check the plug: Locate the round 4-pin connector in the cab.
  2. Connect: Secure the JDC506A9 with the coupling ring.
  3. Link pairing: Connect the OBD2 side to the Jaltest Link V9.
  4. Ignition on: Switch the ignition on, without starting the engine.
  5. Read out: Select Fendt and the series in Jaltest AGV.
