The Jaltest JDC506A9 connects the 4-pin diagnostic connector of Fendt tractors to the 16-pin OBD2 socket on your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the machine side, there is a round black plug with a ribbed coupling ring, which you secure to the connector in the cab. Behind the OBD2 socket, the cable splits into two branches: one to that round plug and one shorter branch that terminates in a round power connector. The entire cable measures 28 to 30 cm in length.
Through this connector, the diagnostic equipment accesses the Fendt diagnostic line and thereby reaches far more than just engine management: the GTR transmission, the EHR and EHF lifting equipment and the Comfort onboard computer are all covered, supplemented on the Xylon with the PTO shafts, differential lock and suspended front axle. On the Favorit 900, you additionally reach the engine management EDC MS6.4 with distributor injection pump, whilst Jaltest on the Farmer 400 and Xylon 500 does not provide engine management coverage. This version works with the Jaltest Link V9 and falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

Applications and functionality
Via this 4-pin connection contact us with the Jaltest software the control units of the tractor. Which units are present varies depending on series and specification. The following units are compatible with the Fendt coveragefrom Jaltest AGV.

- Transmission GTR:The gearbox control unit; present on virtually all 4-pin Fendt configurations.
- On-board Computer Comfort:The central control unit for comfort and body functions.
- Hydraulics EHR and EHF:The rear and front lifting mechanism.
- Hydraulic Rexroth Valves:The operation of the external hydraulic valves on the Favorit 900.
- Electronic module Valves:The valve control on the Farmer 400.
- Aftakas FPTO and RPTO:The front and rear power take-off shafts of the Xylon 500.
- Drivetrain 4WD:The four-wheel drive and differential lock of the Xylon 500.
- Suspension SFA:The suspension management of the sprung front axle on the Xylon 500.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes:Read the fault memory of the control unit, including a detailed description of any detected faults.
- View live data: Access the actual sensor values controlled by the engine control unit, with the ability to set alarm thresholds.
Compatible vehicles and applications
Fendt has used this 4-pin connector across many generations of tractors. The series listed below are covered by Jaltest AGV, with the model years where they have been documented. You can identify which connector is fitted in your cab by checking the tractor itself.
The connector type is what matters, not the model designation. This cable is compatible with any Fendt tractor equipped with the 4-pin diagnostic connector.
