The Jaltest 50007001 is a torque multiplier: a tool that converts your manual force into significantly higher torque output. The reaction arm on the housing braces against a fixed point next to the nut, so the counter-force is absorbed and you simply turn the tool. The case includes the multiplier, a handle, an extension bar and two sockets .
You'll reach for this when a wheel nut or heavy bolted connection is seized and there's no compressed air or electric power available: roadside, in the field or under machinery. The force builds gradually and evenly, so you release the fastener without the impact shock of an impact wrench.
