The Jaltest JDC515A connects the diagnostic port of a Carraro tractor to your Jaltest equipment and features two branches on the machine side. The first branch terminates in a 3-pin connector with a red contact holder, a yellow sealing ring and a black locking bracket. The second branch is a 9-pin SUB-D with pins, a metal sleeve and two screws, featuring a right-angle cable entry. Both branches converge in a black plastic housing, from which a single cable runs to the 16-pin OBD2 on the interface side; the cable measures 30 cm.
With this connection, Jaltest software accesses four tractor systems: the engine control EDC 17 C49, the transmission controls TRAX, TRAX (CAN) and EHM 24, and the lift mechanism M 60. The difference lies in depth: for engine control, fault codes are accompanied by maintenance and additional actions in the coverage, whilst for transmission and lift mechanism, it remains at reading only. The cable is part of the Jaltest Link V8.1 and falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

Applications and functionality
Using this connection, you access the control units of the Carraro tractor with Jaltest software. Which units are present depends on the specification: The engine control is fitted to all covered series, whilst the transmission and lift system vary by model. The units below are included in Carraro coverage, followed by the functions available for each control unit.
Control units you can access
- EDC 17 C49, electronic diesel control with common rail injection: The tractor's engine control and the most comprehensively covered system.
- TRAX and TRAX (CAN), transmission control: The gearbox control, in both an earlier and a CAN version.
- EHM 24, transmission control: The second transmission control unit in Carraro coverage.
- M 60, lift system: Electronic control of the lift system.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the control unit's fault memory with fault descriptions, and clear it after repair.
- View live data: Monitor current sensor values from the control unit, with the option to set alarm thresholds for values outside the normal range.
- Consult maintenance: Retrieve service intervals and record completed work in a report. For Carraro, this applies only to the engine control unit EDC 17 C49.
- Perform additional actions: Execute extra procedures per control unit, such as reset and calibration functions. These are also available only for the engine control unit in the coverage.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type determines compatibility, not the model. This cable fits any Carraro tractor where the 3-pin connector and the 9-pin SUB-D are positioned side by side. The series listed below are covered by Jaltest AGV; which systems you encounter depends on the model variant.
