The Jaltest JDC660M is the key programming cable for BRP's Sea-Doo personal watercraft. At one end is a round 4-pin connector with a blue screw coupling and four gold-plated pins in a black pin holder. At the other end is a black round key post with a chrome-plated outer ring and a central pin, on which you place the key. The cable measures 90.5 to 94.5 cm.
Via this cable, the Jaltest software reads and writes the key codes in the MPEM, the multiplex module in which Sea-Doo houses the start lock. This allows you to pair a new or replacement key with the personal watercraft and remove a lost key from memory. You cannot read fault codes or measured values with it; the diagnostic cable JDC602A is intended for that. The cable works with the Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and falls under Jaltest Marine.

Applications and functions
Via this connection you programme the keys of the Sea-Doo personal watercraft with the Jaltest software. The start lock only lets the engine run with a key that is stored in memory, and that memory is exactly what this allows you to reach. The unit and functions below come from Jaltest's Marine coverage.

Compatible vehicles and applications
The connection determines compatibility, not the model. This cable is for the round 4-pin connection with the blue coupling ring; the 6-pin grey plug in the engine compartment is the diagnostic connection of the JDC602A. If you need both fault finding and key work, you require both cables. The series below are covered by Jaltest Marine.
