The Jaltest JDC30AM2 is a short adapter cable measuring 28 to 30 cm for agricultural applications, where AGV stands for Agricultural Vehicles. One end features a round 3-pin agricultural connector with three brass pins and a knurled screw collar. The other end has a cigarette lighter socket with a nickel-plated rim. Midway along the cable runs a white sleeve.
This sets it apart from the other three: the JDC30AM2 does not connect directly to the interface, as it terminates in a socket rather than a DC plug. It converts the round agricultural connection into a standard lighter socket, into which you then insert the JDC20AM2. This allows you to power a tractor or implement that lacks a lighter socket but has the 3-pin power connector. It is a power cable, not a diagnostic cable.

Applications and functionality
An auxiliary power cable for agricultural vehicles (AGV) that connects to the Jaltest diagnostic system, enabling power supply during diagnostics on farm equipment and machinery.power cable provides the Jaltest Link its own power supply, so the interface is not dependent on the diagnostic connection of the vehicle. The JDC30AM2 is the agricultural version: An adapter cable from 28 to 30 cm that the round 3-pin agricultural connector converts to a cigarette lighter socket, where the JDC20AM2 goes in. It is not a diagnostic cable.
What you use a power cable for
Not every diagnostic connector supplies power to the interface. A power cable solves that:
- If the diagnostic connector provides no voltage: The Link then gets its power this way.
- For standalone systems: Think of setups where you're not connected to the vehicle's main diagnostic port.
- On the workbench: You can power the interface without a vehicle connected.
What you receive
A short, slightly curved cable with heavy-duty plastic housings at both ends. The agricultural side features a round connector with three brass pins in a recessed collar, surrounded by a knurled ring that you twist over the machine's socket. The other end is a cigarette lighter socket with a nickel-plated rim, into which a standard lighter plug fits. The sheath is marked IEC 53(RVV) 300/500 V. Just behind the socket sits a white sleeve around the cable. There is no switch and no indicator light included.
The four power cables side by side
All four power the same interface. The difference lies in the place where you power supply sourced from:
- JDC10AM2, battery clamps:A red and a black crocodile clip connected directly to the battery terminals, 595 to 605 cm.
- JDC20AM2, cigarette lighter:A cabin lighter plug, 195 to 205 cm.
- JDC30AM2, agricultural connection:A 28 to 30 cm adapter cable featuring a round 3-pin agricultural connector on one end and a cigarette lighter socket on the other.
- JDC60AM2, USB-A:A USB-A connector for laptop, power bank or USB charger, 153 cm.
TheJDC10AM2, the JDC20AM2 and the JDC60AM2 end in the same right-angle DC connector and connect directly to the interface. The JDC30AM2 differs from this: it ends in a cigarette lighter socket and is compatible with the cigarette lighter socket of the JDC20AM2.
