The Jaltest 74502006 is the software upgrade to Marine Complete, the diagnostics for inboard engines, outboard engines, jet skis and stationary engines. You add this segment to existing Jaltest software from another segment, without starting again. The upgrade does not replace your software: you keep your serial number and your installation, and Marine is added as an extra segment in the start menu.

The software runs on a Windows PC and reads the control units via the Jaltest Link; without that interface it does not start. We apply the upgrade to the serial number of your Jaltest Link, usually within one working day. From the second year onwards, you renew this segment with the update licence (74602001), separately from the segments you already had.

ADVANTAGES

POINTS TO NOTE

✕This upgrade only works alongside existing Jaltest software. If you do not yet have Jaltest, you start with the software activation (74502001).
✕The Jaltest Link is required. Without that interface, the software will not start on the PC.
✕From the second year onwards you need the update licence (74602001). If you do not renew, the module will be blocked.
✕The software requires registration every six months, even if the licence is still valid. If this does not take place, the software will be blocked.

Marine Complete is the Jaltest diagnostics for inboard engines, outboard engines, jet skis and stationary engines. This upgrade opens that segment alongside the segments you already use. What you do with it next depends on the vehicle and the connection you use.

How to use it

  1. Ordering: Add this upgrade to the basket.
  2. Serial number: Enter in the comments field the serial number of the Jaltest Link on which your current Jaltest software is installed; this is mandatory.
  3. Activation: We apply the upgrade to that serial number, usually within one working day, and notify you by email.
  4. Updating software: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and retrieve the extension.
  5. Use: Select Marine in the start menu, alongside your existing segments.

The versions

Marine Complete comes in four versions with the same coverage. The difference lies in what you buy, not in what you can do with it.

  • Software activation (74502001): One-time purchase of the module.
  • Software licence (74502013): The module with the first year included.
  • Update licence (74602001): Extension by twelve months, from the second year onwards.
  • Software upgrade (74502006): This product. Adds Marine to Jaltest software from another segment.

What you need

For diagnostics with Marine Complete you need more than this upgrade.

  • Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, also to run the software on a PC.
  • Existing Jaltest software: From another segment, on the same serial number.
  • Adapter cables: Marine cable set for vessels (70002008), Marine cable set for inboard engines (70002009), Marine cable set for outboard engines (70002010), Jet ski cable set (29985) and Marine cable set for stationary engines (70002006), optional. If you do not have them, connect using the multi-pin set from your Jaltest case.

Good to know: If your licence expires, the module is blocked until you purchase the update licence (74602001). If you renew within fifteen days after the expiry date, the new period runs on from that expiry date; after that, it starts on the day of renewal.
