The Jaltest (70605041) is a software license for the Spare Parts Search add-on module. This module is developed to identify specific OEM references of vehicle components based on the chassis number (VIN). The system provides a detailed view of the parts of a vehicle, including exploded-view drawings, descriptions, locations, and OEM references. This license is valid for one year and includes 700 searches.

The Spare Parts Search module integrates with the Jaltest Diagnostics software, optimizing the management and purchase of spare parts. Features include creating shopping lists and managing orders. Each search based on a VIN consumes one access; subsequent searches for the same VIN within a 12-hour period do not consume new access. An active Jaltest CV Modular Truck or Truck Select license is required to use this module.

The Spare Parts Search module offers the following functionalities:

  • OEM parts identification: Finds specific parts and OEM references by entering the chassis number (VIN).
  • Detailed information: Provides access to exploded-view drawings, technical descriptions, locations, and part numbers.
  • Workshop management: Enables users to create shopping lists and manage spare parts orders.
  • Brand compatibility: Supports various truck brands, including DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Scania, and Volvo.

License information:

To activate the software license, the serial number of your Jaltest interface is required. This number can be found in one of the following locations.

The serial number (consisting of 9 characters) must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process.

  • Interface: The serial number is on the sticker on the back of the Jaltest Link V9.
  • Settings menu: The number can be found in the settings menu of the Jaltest software.
  • Packaging box: The serial number is listed on the original packaging of the interface.

How it works:

Identification of parts with the Spare Parts Search module proceeds in the following steps:

  1. Enter the chassis number (VIN) of the vehicle into the software.
  2. Select a vehicle system to view the associated OEM reference information, including exploded-view drawings.
  3. Add the required references with one click to a shopping list for further management and ordering.
