The Jaltest MHE adapter cable set for forklift trucks (70002022) contains four cables that connect the manufacturer-specific diagnostic connector of a forklift truck to your Jaltest diagnostic cable. The set covers Linde, Jungheinrich and Still, plus the connector of JLG and Haulotte.

Each forklift manufacturer uses its own diagnostic connector: the 7-pin of Linde, the 9-pin Sub-D of Jungheinrich and the dual 4-pin of Still. The JDC549.9 is for the aerial work platform equipment of JLG and Haulotte and is the only one that ends in the 26-pin DB26. The cables fall under Jaltest MHE.

HIGHLIGHTS

✔Four cables that together cover Linde, Jungheinrich and Still.
✔The JDC553A connects to the 9-pin Sub-D connector of Jungheinrich forklift trucks and warehouse trucks.
✔The JDC555A has two 4-pin connectors on the machine side, so both Still variants are covered.
✔The JDC549.9 connects directly to the Jaltest Link with its 26-pin DB26, without an intermediate cable.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕The JDC549.9 is the connector for JLG and Haulotte, two manufacturers of aerial work platforms. Do not use it for a forklift truck.
✕Linde has two connectors. Only the 7-pin is included; for the 4-pin you need the separate JDC554A cable.
Hyster, Yale, Toyota and Crown have their own cables, which are not included in this set.
✕Internal transport involves dozens of manufacturer-specific connectors. Check the truck itself to see which plug is fitted before you order.

Applications and functionality

Each cable in this set converts a manufacturer-specific diagnostic connector to the standard connector of the Jaltest Link. What you can do afterwards is determined by the Jaltest software and the coverage table for that truck. On electric forklift trucks, the control sits in the drive and the lifting system instead of in an internal combustion engine.

What is included in the set

  • JDC549.9: JLG and Haulotte, 4-pin to DB26.
  • JDC552A: Linde, round 7-pin.
  • JDC553A: Jungheinrich, 9-pin Sub-D.
  • JDC555A: Still, dual 4-pin.

What you can do

  • Fault codes: Read and clear after repair.
  • Measured values: Live in figures and graphs.
  • Components: Actuation, where coverage allows it.
  • Settings: Configuration and maintenance.

How to use it

  1. Check the connector: Look at the truck to see which connector is fitted.
  2. Choose the cable: Take the cable that matches that connector.
  3. Connect: To your Jaltest diagnostic cable; the JDC549.9 directly to the Link.
  4. Start the software: Open Jaltest on the PC and connect the Link.
  5. Read out: Select the manufacturer and system in the software.

Compatible vehicles and applications

The truck manufacturer is decisive. Unlike engines, which are fitted as a separate drive unit, the diagnostic connector of a forklift truck is tied to the machine builder.

Forklift trucks and warehouse trucks:

  • Linde: With the 7-pin connector.
  • Jungheinrich: With the 9-pin Sub-D connector.
  • Still: With the dual 4-pin connector.

Aerial work platforms and scissor lifts:

  • JLG and Haulotte: With the 4-pin connector.
💡
Good to know: For internal transport, the diagnostic plug belongs to the machine builder and not to the engine. The data plate on the truck states the manufacturer and series. Check the machine itself to see which connector is fitted before you order.
