The Jaltest CV/OHW Kit (70001052) is the hardware base for diagnostics on commercial vehicles and on off-road and construction machinery. The case contains the Jaltest Link V9 (70001015), the Multipin Kit 70002001, the OBD2 cable JDC213.9, the connection cable JDC107.9B to the PC and the extension cable JDC100 of 100 cm. Everything is housed in the Compact Hardcase 70003015 measuring 505 × 381 × 146 mm.

The same hardware works with two software modules: Jaltest CV for trucks, buses, trailers and vans, and Jaltest OHW for off-road and construction machinery. The multipin kit 70002001 contains twenty multipins, the JTP101 connection cable and the power supply cables for the battery and cigarette lighter socket. The diagnostics themselves are performed by the Jaltest software on a Windows PC.

ADVANTAGES

✔One set of hardware for two software modules: the same case works with Jaltest CV for commercial vehicles and Jaltest OHW for off-road and construction machinery.
✔With the twenty multipins (JTP01 to JTP10 in blue and yellow) and the JTP101 connection cable, you can also connect to a connector for which no ready-made cable exists.
✔With the JDC213.9 you connect directly to the 16-pin OBD2 connector, the standard on trucks and buses from Euro IV onwards.
✔The JDC100 extension cable of 100 cm keeps the Jaltest Link V9 out of the way while you work under the dashboard or at the engine.

POINTS TO NOTE

✕There are no manufacturer-specific adapter cables in the case. For a manufacturer's own diagnostic connector you need separate JDC cables or a cable set.
✕The hardware does not perform diagnostics itself. You need the Jaltest software with a licence for Jaltest CV or Jaltest OHW on a Windows PC.
✕The compact case has room for approximately twelve cables in addition to this set; for a larger cable collection it is too small.
✕If you also work on agricultural machinery, internal transport or vessels, the kits 70001060, 70301001 and 70001053 belong to that.

Applications and functions

This kit connects a Windows PC with Jaltest software to the control units of trucks, buses, trailers, vans and construction machinery. The Jaltest Link V9 passes the vehicle signal on to the PC; the cables determine where you connect, to the 16-pin OBD2 connector or via the multipins to a non-standard connector.

  5. Reading out: Select make and model in Jaltest CV or OHW.

Compatible vehicles and applications

The software module determines what you can do, not the case. This hardware works with Jaltest CV and with Jaltest OHW. Which vehicles and machines you can read out depends on the module you use; on a manufacturer-specific connector, the multipins or a separate JDC cable are useful.

💡
Good to know: Jaltest's compact hardware cases all use the same Compact Hardcase 70003015 and look the same on the outside. You recognise this CV/OHW version by the multipin kit 70002001. Choose the case that suits your work: 70001052 for commercial vehicles and earthmoving, 70001060 for agriculture, 70301001 for internal transport and 70001053 for vessels.
