The Jaltest CV/OHW Kit (70001052) is the hardware foundation that enables a Windows PC to communicate with the electronic control units of commercial vehicles and earth-moving and construction machinery. The case contains the Jaltest Link V9 (70001015), the Multipin Kit (70002001), the OBD2 cable JDC213.9, the PC connection cable JDC107.9B and the extension cable JDC100 measuring 100 cm. Everything is housed in the compact case 70003015 measuring 505 × 381 × 146 mm.
This case represents the shared hardware across seven Jaltest diagnostic sets available in this shop — CV and OHW, plus Truck, Bus, Trailer, LCV and Sweeper. What distinguishes these sets from one another is the software module, not the tools in the case. Three sister cases follow the same design: 70001060 for agriculture, 70301001 for materials handling and 70001053 for marine vessels.

Applications and functionality
\nThis kit establishes the connection between a Windows PC with Jaltest software and the control units of the vehicle or machine. The Jaltest Link V9 translates the vehicle bus to the PC, whilst the cables determine where you connect in, on the 16-pin OBD2 port or via the multipins on a non-standard connector. Below you'll find what's included in the case and how to use it.\n
What's included in the case
- Jaltest Link V9 (70001015):The diagnostic interface, with 26-pin DB26 to the cable and USB-C to the PC.
- Multipin Kit (70002001):Twenty multipins JTP01 through JTP10 in blue and yellow, the connection cable JTP101 and the power cables JDC10AM2 and JDC20AM2.
- JDC213.9: Adapter cable from 26-pin DB26 to 16-pin OBD2 connector.
- JDC107.9B: Connection cable from Jaltest Link V9 to the USB-C port on your computer.
- JDC100: Extension cable, 100 cm long, between the Jaltest Link V9 and vehicle cable.
- Compact Hardcase (70003015): Flight case measuring 505 × 381 × 146 mm with space for this kit and approximately twelve cables.
What you can do with it
- Read and clear fault codes: On every control unit covered by your chosen Jaltest module.
- Monitor live data and parameters: With the engine running or whilst driving.
- Activate components: Trigger valves, relays and actuators directly.
- Access a non-standard connector: The multipins connector lets you reach connections where no ready-made cable exists.
- Supply power: The power cables JDC10AM2 and JDC20AM2 supply the interface when the connector itself provides no power.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The software module determines compatibility, not the case itself. The same hardware operates under Jaltest CV and under Jaltest OHW; which vehicles and machines you can access depends on the module installed on the Jaltest Link V9.
