If you want to power your Jaltest Link through your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket, the Jaltest JDC20AM2 is the cable you need. Cojali stocks it as a lighter supply cable, measuring approximately two meters in length (195 to 205 cm), compatible with the Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9.
The JDC20AM2 comes standard in the Multipin kit V9 (70002001) and the AGV version (70002002). It's the counterpart to the JDC10AM2, which uses battery clamps—this version simply plugs into the lighter socket. It remains a power supply cable and not a diagnostic cable.

What you use a power cable for
Not every diagnostic connector supplies power to the interface. A power cable solves that:
- When the diagnostic connector provides no power: The Link gets its power this way.
- For standalone systems: Think of setups where you're not connected to the vehicle's main diagnostic port.
- On the workbench: You can power the interface without a vehicle connected.
What you'll need
- A Jaltest Link: V8.1 or V9.
- A cigarette lighter socket in the vehicle: Without it, the JDC10AM2 with battery clamps is the alternative.
- The diagnostic cable for your vehicle or system: This makes the actual connection.
