The Jaltest update license for the Knorr-Bremse add-on extends access to the latest software updates for a period of 1 year. This license activates new diagnostic functions and software improvements specifically for Knorr-Bremse systems released throughout the year.

After ordering, the license is automatically linked to your reading device within 24-48 hours based on the provided serial number. An active license grants access to the full functionality, including technical information and new vehicle coverage. When the license expires, the software continues to operate on the last installed version but no longer receives new updates.

To activate the license, the serial number of your Jaltest reading device is required. This number consists of 9 characters and can be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:

Device: On the back of the Jaltest Link V9 interface.
Settings menu: In the Jaltest software under the "Settings" or "Info" menu.
Packaging box: On the sticker on the outside of the original packaging.
