The Jaltest Marine (Full) software upgrade, with article number 74502006, is an activation license intended for users who already have an active basic license for another Jaltest module. This upgrade allows expanding the functionalities of the Jaltest diagnostic tool with the Marine diagnostic software at a reduced price. Instead of the standard price, a special rate is applied for the extension of existing systems.

After ordering, the activation license is automatically linked within 24-48 hours to the specified serial number of your diagnostic tool. This upgrade activates the Marine module on your device. To actually use the diagnostic functions, a separate, valid software license for the Marine module is required. Without this additional license, the activated module cannot be used.

Applications and functionalities:

This software upgrade activates the Marine diagnostic module within the Jaltest environment. This gives the user, after purchasing the corresponding software license, access to the following functionalities for ship engines and systems:

Diagnosis: Reading and clearing fault codes from the various control systems.
Measurements: Displaying live data, such as RPM, temperatures, and sensor values.
Component control: Activating components to check their operation.
System checks: Performing specific tests on systems, such as compression tests.
Calibrations: Calibrating sensors and actuators.
Parameter settings: Adjusting configurable system parameters.
Technical data: Access to technical information, diagrams, and maintenance data.

Note: The software activation is the first step to activate the Jaltest diagnostic tool. However, for full use of the system, a valid software license is also required. Without this license, the module cannot function fully.

Serial number information:

For the activation of this software upgrade, the serial number of your Jaltest Link V9 interface is required. This number consists of 9 characters and must be entered in the comments field during checkout. The serial number can be found in the following locations:

Device: On the back of the Jaltest Link V9 interface.
Settings menu: In the information menu of the Jaltest software.
Packaging box: On the original packaging of the device.
