The Jaltest 29348 is the software activation for Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle, the diagnostic solution for street sweepers, multi-purpose carriers and winter service vehicles. This is the entry-level product of the module: you purchase it once, we lock it to the serial number of your Jaltest Link and it then appears in the Jaltest Diagnostics start menu.
The software runs on a Windows PC and reads control units via the Jaltest Link; it will not start without that interface. The purchase itself does not expire – the module remains yours – but for new software versions from the second year onwards, you will need the update licence (29349).

Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle is the Jaltest diagnostic solution for street sweepers, multi-purpose carriers and winter service vehicles. This activation unlocks that module. What you do with it thereafter depends on the vehicle and the connection you use.

Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle is available in three versions with identical coverage. The difference lies in what you purchase – a one-time purchase, the first year of use included, or a renewal – not in what you can do with it.

What you need
To diagnose with Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle, you need more than this product. The complete setup is detailed below.
- Jaltest Link: The diagnostic interface. Required, even to start the software on a PC.
- The module itself (29348): This product. You purchase the module once; the module remains yours.
- Update licence (29349): Twelve months' extension, from the second year onwards.
- Adapter cables (optional): Multi-purpose vehicle cable kit (70002005). If you don't have these, connect using the multi-pin set included in your Jaltest case.

How does it work in practice?
From order to working module there are four steps. The serial number of your Jaltest Link is all you need to find yourself.
- Provide the serial number: Include the serial number of your Jaltest Link in the notes field when you place your order; this is required.
- We activate: We bind the module to that serial number, typically within one working day of your order.
- Confirmation by email: You will hear from us as soon as the module is on your serial number.
- Update software: Start Jaltest Diagnostics and retrieve the module; Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle will then appear in the start menu.
